City of Caro Awarded Community Development Block Grant

The City of Caro has been awarded $1.5 million from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for Rental Rehabilitation and Homeowner Rehabilitation programs.

$826,000 has been awarded for Rental Rehabilitation in Downtown Caro for seven residential units offered by Ransford-Wasik, LLC.

The remaining $674,000 will be available to low and moderate income homeowners for the Homeowner Rehabilitation program, with further details on how to apply coming in the next few months. This program allows these homeowners to obtain funding to make necessary repairs to their homes.
