Software Issues Reported During Board Meeting

Computers are a wonderful instrument, but when they don't work right it creates a difficult situation.
During the last meeting of the Sherman Township Board of Trustees, it was reported that Thumb Office was contacted about issues with the BSA software program and trying to use it.
During discussion, it was noted that until Huron County updates their software it will be an issue using the program, abut a way has been found to work around the issues with the program. It takes work and extra time.
The request to purchase a Pivot Point for field work at a cost of $750 was approved.
A Pivot Point is a marker used for field work.
During the meeting, the township's Fire Chief Phil Weber explained to the board the department voted to put Cole Messing and Kevin Geiger on the department as probationary firemen, pending completion of fire training this winter.
