Number of Cyclosporiasis Cases Continue to Increase

The number of cases of the cyclosporiasis illness in Michigan continues to increase.

As of the last update on July 31, there were 10,773 with about 193 cases of cyclosporiasis requiring hospitalization.

Huron has 43 cases.

Tuscola has 22 cases.

Sanilac has 43.

St. Clair has 26.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration and state public health officials have been investigating an outbreak of cyclosporiasis.
