Columbia Township Board Approved Some Special Library Events

The Columbia Township Board of Trustees approved some special events that the Columbia Township Library wants to host.
The library at 6456 Center St., Unionville, will host a Halloween Bash on Thursday, Oct. 30 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
The event is open to all ages.
Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite book character as there could be prizes involved along with treats, dancing and activities.
On Saturday Nov. 1, the library will host a family feud night from 7 to 9 p.m. in the library's community room. Teams are asked to register with the library beforehand by calling 989-674-2651.
The fee to participate is $25, which will go towards funding library programs.
The event will follow the same format as the Family Feud that is hosted by Steve Harvey.
During the meeting, there were several land splits that were requested and approved, and there were some combined land requests that were also approved.
