A few women from the Huron Intermediate School District Business Service Team held a presentation at the Harbor Beach School Board Meeting. The Business Service Team is experts skilled in specific areas in finances that work with a total of 10 schools in the Huron District. The benefits the team offers are office efficiency and consistency among districts as in if things work better in other districts they have all districts do the same. Other benefits are cross training so multiple people are trained in different jobs, also segregation and duties. The purchase of a new boiler was also discussed at the Harbor Beach School Board Meeting.
