Harbor Beach Communications tower comes down -video

   Campers at North Park Campground in Harbor Beach had a front row seat as a nearby 485 foot former communications tower was being taken down with a helicopter. The work started Wednesday morning and is expected to be completed on Thursday. The towers location meant it wasn't safe to just drop it. By 1pm Tuesday 4 sections had already been removed and were taken to city property west of the park as a staging area. The fire department was in the camp, sectioning off some of the areas to keep people from wandering too close.
