She is survived by her husband, Charles; three children, Karen M. (Kenneth) Davis of Caro, Brenda L. Kappen of Freeland, and David (Karen) Wisenbaugh of Pigeon; son-in-law, Greg Janik of Pigeon; grandchildren, Eric Gaeth, Brandon Gaeth, Neil Gaeth Jr., Samantha (Clinton) Lindenfield, and Lindsey Kappen; step grandchildren, Kenny, Kelly, Krystal, Kortnie, and Kandise; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Gavin, and Cloe Jo; step great-grandson, Braaden; siblings: Ilene (Dale) Johnson of Bad Axe, Helen Carpenter of Kinde, Mary Bivens of Bessemer, Bernard (Joan) Ruth of Lapeer, Don (Theresa) Ruth of Hemlock and Leo (Dee) Ruth of Livonia; in- laws, Wayne (Sandra) Wisenbaugh, Phyllis (Lyle) Krohn, Jean Adkins; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Tracy Jo Janik, in 2012; brothers, Francis, Matthew, Earl, and Carl Ruth; and sister-in-law, Etta Kunish
Jo Ann Wisenbaugh, age 70 of Pigeon, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City. She was born in Pinnebog on October 11, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Herron) Ruth. She was raised near Kinde and attended North Huron School. On August 26, 1961 she was united in marriage to Charles G. Wisenbaugh in Kinde, and they had been married almost 53 years. Jo worked at The Dutch Kettle, Hamill Manufacturing, and for many years at Active Feed Company in Pigeon, retiring in 2009. She loved to read, crochet, garden, cook, and do word search games. She was an avid Detroit sports fan. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
