Funeral Information

Funeral Services for Dale will be Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 12 noon at the Ramsey Funeral Home, with the Verona Huron Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star conducting the service. Cremation at Sunset Valley Crematory will follow. Visitation for Dale will be Saturday at the funeral home from 10 am until time of services at 12 noon. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com

Dale is survived by his wife Audrey Mausolf of Port Hope, his mother Marian Mausolf of Harbor Beach, son Dale Mausolf, Jr and his wife Andrea of Shreveport, LA, step son Daniel Bittner and his wife Antonia of Royal Oak, daughters Joanne Campbell of Dallas, TX, Jean Mausolf of Ypsilanti, and Carrie Emming and her husband Dean of Minden City, 10 grandchildren: Derek, Brandon, Kelsie, Jordan, Rose, Joel, Jessica, Lindsey, Faith, Lily, 3 great grandchildren Jack, Lucas, and Peyton. His sisters: Genevieve and her husband Robert Schroeder of Caseville, Marlene Klee and her husband Gordon of Harbor Beach, Lois Korbel and her husband David of Harbor Beach, brothers: Larry Mausolf and his wife Sharon of Harbor Beach, and David Mausolf and his wife Marcia of Cypress, TX. He was preceded in death by his sister Helen Mausolf, his brother Gary Mausolf, and grandson Trevor Emming.

Biography

DALE MAUSOLF, Sr., age 65 of Port Hope, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Saginaw. He was born on March 19, 1949 in Harbor Beach to Marian (Nowiski) Mausolf and the late Harry Mausolf. Dale and Audrey Gorrell were united in marriage on July 29, 1988 in Harbor Beach. Dale worked as a pipefitter for Tower Automotive for over 40 years. He was a member of the Huron Verona Masonic Lodge of Bad Axe. Dale was an avid gardener and beekeeper, he loved to hunt, fish, go camping, canning and baking, do woodworking and tinker with everything. Dale was always at the farmer markets in Port Austin and Harbor Beach selling his vegetables, Dale especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
