Dennis is survived by his children: Garret S. O'Berski of Cass City, Julie (Dave) Westhaus of Manistee; step grandson, Evan Lukas; Dennis was very excited to learn that his first grandchild was due in August 2015. He will also be missed by sisters: Kathy (Larry) Kelly of Bad Axe, Diana (Ron) Adrianse of Oscoda; brothers: Kenneth (Christine) O'Berski of Ubly, Garret O'Berski of Ubly; brother-in-law, Ross (Linda) Scott of Sandusky; nieces and nephews: Jodie Nelson of Yorktown, VA, Richard Nelson of Oscoda, Chad (Ashley) O'Berski of Bad Axe, Michelle (Andy) Davis of Norton Shores, Christine Scott of Sandusky, Rena Scott of Sandusky; many aunts, uncles
Dennis E. O'Berski, 64, of Cass City, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in his home. He was born June 14, 1950 in Bad Axe to Elmer and Bernice (Masa) O'Berski. He married Anita Priscilla Scott January 31, 1976 in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Ubly. She died September 4, 2005. Dennis attended Ferris State College in Big Rapids. He worked for Saginaw Asphalt Paving Company as an Estimator and Project Manager retiring after over 40 years of service. Dennis was a member of St. Pancratius Catholic Church and the Cass City Gagetown Knights of Columbus Council #8892. He loved watching movies, going fishing and watching Detroit Tiger Baseball. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and he also liked to play the piano a bit. Most important to Dennis was spending time with his family and friends.
