Bill is survived by his sisters Harriet Lazechko of Bad Axe and Gloria (Gerald) Wisenbaugh of Harbor Beach; brothers Dennis (Dana) Lazechko of New Baltimore; Harry Lazechko of Taylor; and Martin (Jean) Lazechko of Colorado; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his step-father, Emile Ghesquire; brother in law, Jim Lyons; sister in law, Connie Lazechko; nephew Brian Toureau; nephew Patrick Didia; and niece Mary Cipollone.

Biography

William “Bill” Lazechko, 71, of Bad Axe, passed away on December 5, 2014 at Huron Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe. William was born on January 20, 1943 to the late Harry and Mary (Kuzminski) Lazechko in Detroit, Michigan. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church (St. Hubert Parish). Bill loved playing cards, listening to his beloved Detroit Tigers on the radio and spending time with his friends and family. He was a gentle soul and would help anyone in need. Some of his friends knew him as “Wild Bill”.
