Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kinde. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at The Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde. There will be a vigil service at 7:15 p.m. Thursday evening.
Delores is survived by her children; Ronald and his wife, Sharon, of Brighton, William and his wife, Phyllis, of Plant City, Florida, Nancy and her husband, Bill Wormstedt, of Seattle, Washington, Robert Jr. “Bobby,” of Oregon, David of Wixom, Joseph and his wife, Jeanne, of Frankenmuth, Victoria and her husband, Paul Millenbach, of Grosse Pointe Park and Michael and his wife, Gina of Plant City, Florida. 13 grandchildren, Kristy Fisher (Ryan), Heather (Angelo) Fallone, Jayme (Nathaniel) Deagan, Jake Fisher, Justin Fisher, Bobby Fisher, Andy (Shelby) Taylor, Jacqueline (Kyle) Koch, Jill Fisher, Jeanine Fisher, Luke Fisher, Mathew Millenbach and Melissa Millenbach and five great-grandchildren; Justin Fisher, Winston Deagan, Melia, Lena, and Dominic Fallone. Delores was preceded in death by her daughter, Roseann Fisher; and her brothers and sisters, Toby, Lilas, Raiky, Bertha, Ervin, Nellie, Lottie, Alice, Alexander, Leo and Alger.
Delores Alice Fisher, Age 87, of Zephyrhills, Florida (formerly of Kinde, Michigan) passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Coventry Assisted Living in Plant City, Florida. She was born September 22, 1928 the youngest of 12 children, to the late Valentine & Margaret Watchowski. On December 1, 1945, Delores married Robert Fisher at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kinde. They were married 65 years. Robert preceded her in death on February 25, 2011. Delores was a dedicated and loving wife, homemaker and a wonderful mother to 9 children. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She and Robert lived in Kinde and spent winters in Florida until 1997, when they moved to Zephyrhills, Florida. She loved gardening and the outdoors. She will be remembered for her ‘Thanksgiving’ like Sunday dinners, amazing molasses cookies and always having a smile on her face.
