Andrew Broomfield of Midland. Katie (Matt) Peat of Union, MI. Aaron Broomfield of Michigan Center, MI. 10 Great-grandchildren Predeceased by: 4 Brothers-Melford, Archie, Bob and Max Stirrett 4 Sisters-Dorothy Nugent, Jane Kloska, Lois McDowell and Floy Alent.
Vera Mary Broomfield, age 92, of Bad Axe, passed away on Thursday October 15, 2015 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe. Vera was born October 31, 1922 in Pinnebog, daughter of the late Alex and Ethel (Hall) Stirrett. She married Clarence “Shorty” Broomfield on January 20, 1944. He preceded her in death on August 26, 2005. She was a “Rosie the Riveter” in Ypsilanti during WWII. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
