Alice is survived by her daughters, Janette (Thomas) Farver and Debara (Martin) Baker both of Elkton; a son, Allen (Bridget) Glasgow of Bad Axe; her grandchildren, Tom (Lynn) Farver of Ubly, Tanette Farver (and fiancé Will Parker) of Port Huron, Karry (Jason) Gorsegner of Pigeon and Corey Baker of Elkton (and special friend Jolene); her great- grandchildren, T.J., Shelby and Brady Farver of Ubly and Daniel Baker of Elkton (and special friend Rachael); sisters Leona (Al) Gorleski of Caro, Dorothy Hensel of Sebewaing, Marge Goslin of Gagetown, and Elaine (Herb) Neurath of Pigeon; brother Harold (Shirley) Deering of Pigeon and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth J. Glasgow; brother William Deering; sister Mabel (Ed) Arnold; her mother and father in law, Edward and Margaret Glasgow; brothers and sisters in law: Ed Arnold, Frank Swartz, Harold Goslin, Norman Hensel, Angus & Alice McLeod, Elmer and Rita Brehm and Mary Glasgow; nephew Tim Arnold and niece Barbara Brehm.

Biography

Alice Marie Glasgow, age 90, resident of Bad Axe, passed away on October 27, 2015 at Courtney Manor. She was born May 2, 1925 in Pigeon, Michigan to the late Conrad and Molly (Allis) Deering. She was united in marriage to Edward J. Glasgow on August 7, 1945 in Topeka, Kansas. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2010. She was a member of Bad Axe Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Post No.4115 in Sebewaing. Alice was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, knitting, crafts, flower gardening and visiting with her family and friends.
