Funeral Information

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 23rd at 10am St John Lutheran Church of Port Hope. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will take place Friday from 2-8pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach with a scripture service at 7:30pm. Visitation will also take place at the church on Saturday from 9am until the time of service at 10am. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com

Family of the Deceased

Lena is survived by her children, Arthur Sengstock Jr. and his wife Betty of Canyon Lake, Texas, Brenda Friedland and her husband LaVern of Port Hope, Joyce Harwood and her husband Larry of Port Hope, Elaine Reinke and her husband Roy of Port Hope, Lola Smith and her husband Robert of Warren, MI, Darla Pankow and her husband Ponch of Port Hope, Deanna May and her husband Dan of Port Hope, Daryl Sengstock and his wife Kim of Port Hope; 23 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Lena is also survived by her siblings, Dora (Pleiness) Collison of Port Hope, Freddy Koglin and his wife Bernice of Port Hope and Marlene Martinez of Harbor Beach. Lena was preceded in death by her siblings, Frank Koglin Jr., Rosena Kelley, Alfred Koglin, Albert Koglin and Gloria Western.

Biography

Lena M. Sengstock, age 93 of Port Hope, passed away Wednesday, January 20th at Lakeview Extended Care and Rehab of Harbor Beach Community Hospital. Lena was born August 5, 1922 in Marysville, MI to the late Frank & Mae (Merchant) Koglin. She and Arthur Sengstock Sr. were united in marriage on February 7, 1942 in Port Hope. He preceded her death on December 10, 2006. She loved fishing, baking and putting together puzzles. Lena was a member of St John Lutheran Church of Port Hope.
