Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 11 am at St. Hubert Parish-Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 2-8 pm or Wednesday at the church from 10 am until the service time at 11 am. Margaret is survived by: 1 Son- James Freiburger of Attica. 4 Daughters-Diane (Edward) Kopitz of Palms. Brenda (Edward) Fabinski of Minden City. Sandra Knobloch of Minden City. Kelley (Carey) Coomer of Richmond. 1 Sister-Helen (Ronald) Skover of Hubbard Lake. 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren. Margaret was predeceased by: 1 Grandson-Eddie Fabinski. 3 Brothers-Raymond, James and Harold Reed. 3 Sisters-Mary Brown, Penny Bridgeman and Etha Glysz.

Biography

Margaret Ann Freiburger, age 83, of Bad Axe, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016. Margaret was born on October 12, 1932 in Bad Axe, daughter of the late Jesse and Myrtle (Blaylock) Reed. She married Jim Freiburger on January 20, 1951. He preceded her in death on October 24, 1984. Margaret enjoyed playing cards, bowling and Yahtzee.
