Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 11 am at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 pm or Friday from 10 am until the service time at 11 am. Interment with military honors will take place at North Grove Township Cemetery in Mayville at 3pm. Memorials may be offered to United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital. Biography

Thomas Leitner, age 70, of Bad Axe, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016. Thomas was born in Mt. Clemens, MI on November 29, 1945, son of the late Rex and Virginia (Watt) Leitner. Thomas served in the US Army. He really enjoyed scratch off Lottery tickets, campfires, and celebrating with his family as much as possible.
