A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. William O’Nan will officiate. Burial will be in Colfax Township Cemetery, Bad Axe. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Military honors will be conducted at graveside. Memorials may be made to the Port Huron Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda; four children, David (Patricia) Stokan II, Daniel Stokan, Diana (Michael) Litten and Darci (Joseph) Schomburg; 11 grandchildren, Michael, Cody, Shane, Corey, Joshua and Krystal Stokan, Caleb and Ciana Litten, and Shawn, Cameron and Adam Schomburg; one great grandson, Taven D. Stokan; brother, Richard (Judy) Stokan; brother-in-law, Richard (Joyce) Kennedy and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Krohn.
David Allen Stokan, 75, of Fort Gratiot, died Saturday, September 10, 2016. He was born September 5, 1941 in Bad Axe to the late Elton M. and Leora Belle Stokan. He married Linda Kennedy on November 3, 1962 in Bad Axe. Mr. Stokan served in the U.S. Army and was the co-owner of Marvel Tool and Machine. He was a member of Port Huron Lodge #58 F.& A.M. and enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and bowling.
