Funeral Information

Funeral services for Robert will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 1:30 pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, with Dr. Darcy Fietsam officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Falls Cemetery. Visitation for Robert will be Monday, September 12, 2016, from 3-8 pm at the funeral home. Visitation on Tuesday will begin at 12:30 pm until time of services at 1:30 pm. He is survived by his wife Mary of Harbor Beach, and children: Robert Fietsam and his wife Jennifer of Wesley Chapel, Florida, Terry Fietsam of Ann Arbor, Wendy Gould and her husband Don of Wesley Chapel, Florida, Darcy Fietsam of Folly Beach, SC, Cindy Matz and her husband Mike of Shelby Township, Randy Fietsam and his wife Julee of Leonard, Chad Fietsam and his wife Chris of Troy, Skotti Fietsam and her husband Ricardo of Guadalajara, Mexico, Karolyn Tomayko and her husband Randy of Shelby Township, 31 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by a son Ronald and a grandchild David Young.

Biography

ROBERT FIETSAM, age 79 of Harbor Beach, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 at his home with his family by his side He was born on December 1, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri, and adopted by the late Irvin & Margaret (Pruitt) Fietsam. Robert and Mary MacCombie were united in marriage on June 8, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio. Robert was a retired engineer from General Motors. He enjoyed being a pilot, playing bridge, golfing, and watching baseball and football, especially The Ohio State University.
