Visitation will be Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 1-8pm. The funeral service will be Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Our Lady of Consolata Catholic Church (Holy Family Parish). Visitation will be from 10am until the time of service at 1pm. Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Sebewaing. Memorial donations may be given to Our Lady of Consolata Catholic Church (Holy Family Parish), Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, USA Schools, or the charity of your choice. Mark is survived by his wife, Terry Gruehn; mother, Dorothy Gruehn; children: Shaun (Jenny) Gruehn, Steve (Allison) Gruehn, Brad (Tiffany) Gruehn and Brittany (Caleb Brow) Gruehn; grandchildren: Case, Rylan, Adalyn, Jake and Emery; siblings: JoAnne (Doug) Rasmussen, Patrick (Amy) Gruehn, Gerry (Roger) Vermeersch, Lynn (Jeff) Valentine and Carol (Mike) VanHoost; and many nieces and nephews.

Biography

Mark H. Gruehn, age 57, of Sebewaing, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon. Mark was born September 2, 1959, in Pigeon, to Leon and Dorothy (Vollmer) Gruehn. He married Terry Elenbaum on November 24, 1979. When not working, he enjoyed deer hunting, boating, riding motorcycle, cutting scrap, burning, collecting and owning John Deer tractors, spending time in Caseville, traveling, and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed helping others. When wearing a shirt…he’d give you the shirt off his back.
