A Memorial Service will be held October 28th, at 11:00am, at the Kilmanagh United Methodist Church, 2009 S. Bay Port Rd, Bay Port, MI 48720.
Surviving are their children, Joan(Vernon) Tyree and Donald(Jean) Carpenter; grandchildren, Clark, Jeffrey, Jessica, Joshua, and Jacob; great grandchildren, Adina, Lily, Grace, Adam, Ruby, and Nathan; great great granddaughter, Aubrey; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter Peggy Jo.
Mr. Milford Carpenter, age 98, died peacefully October 11th, 2016 at Shepherd’s Gate in Hartland, MI. Mr. Carpenter married Grace Beck in February of 1942 and they were together until the time of her death in October 10th, 1999. Mr. Carpenter was an employee of the Michigan Milk Producers Association, a member of Kilmanagh United Methodist Church, and a Veteran of World War II in the United States Army. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, bowling, and time spent with his family.
