Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 3rd at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Kinde with Fr. Craig Carolan officiating. Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Bad Axe. Visitation will be 2 – 9 pm on Wednesday, November 2nd at the MacAlpine Gage Chapel in Kinde with a Scripture service at 7 pm. Visitation will also be at the church 10 am until time of service on Thursday, November 3rd. Memorials may be offered to the Donor’s Choice. Condolences can be shared at www.macalpinefuneralhome.com

Family of the Deceased

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Willard; children, Patrick Cregeur of Clinton Township, Kathy (Gerald) DeWaele of Shelby Township and Linda Cregeur of Kinde; brother, James (Ardith) Elliott of Clio, and her sister, Bernice Spindler of Beaverton; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, William (Ardith), Deward, Henry (Leona), Albert and Wallace (Betty) Elliott Jr.; her sisters, Helen (William) Running, Hazel (Fred) Ligrow, and Mary (Raymond) Fleming; and a brother in law, Ronald Spindler.

Biography

Josephine “Ann” Cregeur, age 83, of Kinde, passed away on October 29, 2016 at home under Heartland Hospice care. She was born August 30, 1933 in Meade Township to the late Wallace and Josephine (Schmitt) Elliott. Ann Elliott was united in marriage on January 18, 1954 to Willard D. Cregeur at St. Phillip Nevi in Detroit, MI. She moved to Roseville after graduating from Bad Axe High School in 1951. She was a licensed beautician. Ann worked at Regal Plastics in Roseville for 13 years. In 1991, Willard retired and the family moved to the Oak Beach area. She was a member of the Caseville E.O.F. 3690 Ladies Auxiliary, and the Port Austin U & I Club. She enjoyed playing bocce ball, bowling, playing cards, going on trips to the casino, dancing, listening to music, baking cookies and spending time with her family and many friends.
