Per Mark’s wishes, direct cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Mark's life at 12 noon on Saturday, November 26th at the Ubly T.V.O. Hall (2165 Bingham Street). Memorials may be offered to the family discretionary fund. Mark is survived by his wife, Carrie Mayworm of Elkton; his brother, Robert Mayworm of Elkton; his mother in law, Mary Lou Maurer of Ubly; his brothers in law: William (Shelly) Murdock of Bethel, Alaska; and Steve (Theresa) Murdock of Ubly; his sisters in law: JayeDee (Steve) Nichols of Grayling, Vicki (Steve) LaBuhn of Bad Axe and Marje Murdock of Ubly; his nieces and nephews: Joseph & Vincent Mayworm, Jessica (Jeff) Brodsky, Jason Murdock, Joshua (Marty) Nichols, Charlie Nichols, Patrick and Megan Murdock, Shelby (Pete) Brunner, Eric LaBuhn and Serena Murdock. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Matthew LaBuhn; his brother-in-law, Carl Murdock; and fathers- in- law, William Murdock and Norman Maurer.

Biography

Mark A. Mayworm, 50, of Oliver Township, passed away on November 2, 2016. Mark was the son of the late Joseph and Linda (Desjardin) Mayworm on September 30, 1966. Mark graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1984. He then continued his education at Eastern Michigan University. On September 29, 1990, he married Carrie S. Murdock at the Ubly Presbyterian Church. Mark was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, visiting with his family, friends, and his three cats.
