He is survived by his parents, Marvin and Barbara Main of Bay Port; children, Hope (Jesse) Klaska of Bad Axe, Angela Main of Bad Axe, Maci Main of Pigeon, Melissa Pitts of Grand Blanc, Eric (Megan) Pitts of Flushing, and Greg Pitts of Bay City; five grandchildren, Brandon, Dominic, Caleb, Ayden, and Aspyn; brothers, Brian (Loretta) Main of Minden City and Scott Main of Pigeon; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Biography

Robert Joseph “Bob” Main, 58 of Pigeon, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon. Born in Flint on June 19, 1958, he was the son of Marvin R. and Barbara J. (McAra) Main. He graduated from Ubly High School in 1976, and earned his Masters Degree in Banking from the University of Colorado. Bob worked with Bay Port State Bank for 24 years, and was currently serving as President. He was a member of Scenic Golf & Country Club in Pigeon. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and antique tractors, as well as playing cards with his many friends and family. Bob was a generous man and supported his community in many ways. Bob was a member at Faith Gospel Tabernacle, Bad Axe.
