Funeral Information

Services will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11 am at St. Hubert Parish – Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe. Officiating will be Fr. Rob Howe. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Rapson. Friends may call at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 4 – 9 pm or Thursday at the church from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am. Joshua is survived by: Parents – Tom and Kim Peyerk of Filion. 1 Brother – Raymond Peyerk and special friend Nicole Hessling of Filion. Paternal Grandmother – Evelyn Peyerk of Bad Axe. Maternal Grandfather – Frank Azar of Bad Axe. Aunts and Uncles – Phil (Diane) Peyerk of Bad Axe, Janet Schultz of Bad Axe, Kathy Osantowski of Warren, Paul (Angela) Peyerk of Bad Axe, Robert (Joan) Azar of Bad Axe, Randy Azar of Bad Axe and Jeremy Azar of Chesterfield. Nieces and Nephews – Roman Peyerk, Joslyn and Parker. Many, many close and loving cousins. Joshua was preceded in death by: Paternal Grandfather – Elmer Peyerk. Maternal Grandmother – Diane Azar. Cousin – Ehren Peyerk.

Biography

Joshua Nicholas Peyerk, age 32, of Filion, passed away on November 30, 2017. Joshua was born in Bad Axe on November 16, 1985, son of Thomas and Kimberly (Azar) Peyerk. Joshua enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, four wheelers, snowmobiles and driving his Lincoln with speakers bumping. He also liked the beach, taking pictures of clouds, cooking and helping his neighbor Dan Lasceski with farm work. Of course, Joshy P. had a lot of fun making videos and Snapchats to entertain all his friends and family. He enjoyed making people smile and laugh. He gave great hugs as well.
