Cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory of Bay City. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 1pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, with David Yelland of Heartland Hospice officiating. Friends may gather at the funeral home from 11 am until time of services at 1 pm. A luncheon will follow at the American Legion of Harbor Beach. Interment will be at Sunset Hills/River Crest Cemetery of Flint, in the spring. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com

Jackie is survived by her children: Robert Shields of Roseville, Trudi Shields of Warren, Todd Shields of Caro, Tiffany (Douglas) Dutcher of Ubly, brother Robert Weller of Emmett, sister Judith Ovick of Port Huron,8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 step sisters: Lorraine (Charles) Monroe of Clio, Lois (Loland) Fortenberry of Lambertville, a step brother Tom (Deb) Moore of Linden, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Cady, her father Robert Weller, mother Thelma Moore, step father Clair Moor, brother-in-law James Ovick, sister-in-law Judith Weller, step sister Linda Arnold 2 nephews: George Ovick and Tyler Moore.

Biography

JACQUELINE D. CADY, age 76 of Harbor Beach, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Lakeview Extended Care and Rehab Center of the Harbor Beach Community Hospital, after a courageous fight with Parkinson's Disease. She was born on September 5, 1942 in Jersey County, IL, to the late Robert and Thelma (Wadlow) Weller. Jackie enjoyed making crafts, sewing, quilting and collecting antique dishes. She was an Elvis fanatic with an impressive collection of memorabilia. She took many opportunities to see Elvis impersonators. Jackie was a proud mother and even prouder grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
