He is survived by his sister Ellen (Ron) Neal of Normal, IL; niece Traci (Marcus) Zeller of Hudson, IL; nephew Brad (Hilary) Neal of Leroy, IL; several cousins along with close friends John & Joanne Newton family of Cass City, MI and David & Sherri Addy of Caseville, MI. The family would like to thank Huron County Medical Care Facility and Compassus Hospice for their great care.

Biography

Arthur A. Punke, 70, of Caseville,MI, died Monday, October 22, 2018 at Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe, MI. Art was born August 6, 1948 in Bloomington, Illinois to the late Clifford Dean and Mary Marcella (Schopp) Punke. He worked as a police dispatcher in Normal, Illinois until being permanently disabled in a car accident in 1980. He later moved to Cadillac and in 1996 to Caseville. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Caseville Rod and Gun Club. Art enjoyed hunting, fishing, gun collecting, watching sports, crossword puzzles, playing cards and supporting various organizations. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and his dog Snoopy. He was a very loving and generous man and will be missed by many.
