A memorial Mass of Christian burial for Florence will be 11:00 am Saturday, November 3 at St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Isidore Parish in Parisville. Rev. Todd Arnberg, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation with Florence’s family will be on Saturday, November 3 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville from 10:00-10:45 am. Florence is survived by her children, Steve (Karen) Mausolf of New Hudson, Nancy Peruski of Ubly, Connie Williams of Bad Axe, Timothy (Judy) Mausolf of Minden City, Dennis (Darcy) Mausolf of Ubly, Duane (Carrie) Mausolf of Minden City; 25 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; one brother, Leonard Nowicki of Bad Axe. She was preceded in death by three sons, James, Mark and Kevin Mausolf; two grandchildren, Mike Peruski and Jennifer Williams; two sons-in-law, Thomas Peruski and Herbert Williams; one brother, Elmer Nowicki; two sisters, Beatrice Ulewicz and Margaret Niemic.

Biography

Mrs. Florence M. Mausolf, 89 of Parisville, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Courtney Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Bad Axe. She was born on April 6, 1929 in Detroit to the late Alexander and Lucille (Palach) Nowicki. She married Edward Mausolf on May 1, 1948 at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church in Hamtramck. He preceded her in death on March 1, 1984. Florence was a graduate of Queen of Apostles Elementary School. She worked in various stores in the Detroit area before getting married and moving to Minden City in 1948. Florence farmed with her husband. She and Edward moved to Parisville in 1975. Florence was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Isidore Parish in Parisville where she was a member of the St. Isidore Rosary Sodality, the choir and taught CCD. She was the president of an area senior citizen’s club. Florence enjoyed baking, cooking, quilting and playing cards.
