Funeral Information

Funeral service for Wesley will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the MacAlpine Mac Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Lueke from Our Savior Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow at Valley Cemetery in Ubly. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service on Saturday. Memorials may be offered to the family discretionary fund. Family of the Deceased

Wesley is survived by his daughter, Shelby Susalla of Bad Axe; his brothers: Mark (Tammy) Lewis of Kinde, Stan Lewis (and special friend, Joan Peters) of Bad Axe, Greg Nicholas of Kinde and Ken Lewis of Bay Port; his sister, Shelley (Ed) Ryan of Chicago, Illinois and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bryan Nicholas and his sister, Lisa Simmons.

Biography

Wesley G. Lewis, 59, of Bad Axe, passed away on October 28, 2018 at Detroit Receiving Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Wesley was born on June 23, 1959 in Bad Axe to the late Lorraine and Stanley Lewis Sr. He was a lumber man. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing.
