Funeral Service for Gordon will be Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11 am at the First Presbyterian Church of Harbor Beach, with Rev. Connie Sassanella officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Falls Cemetery. Visitation for Gordon will be on Saturday, in the church, beginning at 9 am until time of services at 11 am. Arrangements are being handled by the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com

Family of the Deceased

Gordon is survived by his wife Margaret Sanner of Harbor Beach, MI ; two daughters: Linda (Gary) Buchholz of Harbor Beach, Jane (James) MacDonald of Fort Gratiot, MI; four grandchildren: Holly (Dale) Cook, Tyler Buchholz, Ariel and Cameron MacDonald, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers: Charles C., William J., and Joseph M. Sanner.

Biography

GORDON A. SANNER, age 99 of Harbor Beach, MI passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Harbor Beach Community Hospital. He was born on December 30, 1918 in Harbor Beach to the late William A. & Jennie (Fyfe) Sanner. He graduated from Harbor Beach High School in 1937. Gordon served in the US Army Air Force during World War II, from 1940-1945, where he earned a Good Conduct Medal, five Overseas Service Bars, American Defense Service Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon and one Service Stripe. He married Margaret Elizabeth Frindt on October 5, 1957 in Harbor Beach. He worked for the local Ford dealership until he retired. He was a active lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder, and a member of the Port Hope Retirees.
