Biography

Our beloved and amazing mother, Glennda Cieslinski, age 68, of Ubly, passed away after a 4 year courageous battle with ovarian cancer on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon with family at bedside. Glennda was born in Bad Axe on January 17, 1951, daughter of the late Willet Glenn and Phyllis (Jeffrey) Coates. She married her true love, John Cieslinski on May 8, 1976 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe. Glennda was an avid quilter. If she was sewing, it was for a quilt. She also, through St. Columbkille Church where she was a member for 43 years, sewed outfits to send to Haiti. Glennda and her husband worked side by side for many years on the family farm. She loved gardening, working on her flowerbeds and spending time with her family and dog (Abby) which she cherished. We would like to thank Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care and the oncology team at Covenant Healthcare especially Dr. Binuh Malhotra and her team.
