Genevie is survived by her children Dennis (Berniece) of Owendale, David (Mary Ann) of Gagetown and Denise (Tim) Lenhard of Prudenville; grandchildren Melinda, Christopher, Deann, Bryan, Jenny, and Jonathon; great-grandchildren Chelsea, Justin, Tristan, Avery, Ryder, Haven, Christopher, Michelle, and Michael; great-great-grandchildren Sebastian, Spencer, Kovu, and Arlo; brother Herbert (Jeannie) Severn of Unionville. She was preceded in death by daughter Janet, granddaughter Zoie, and sister Anna Forro.
Genevie V. Abbe, 97, of Owendale, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Courtney Manor Nursing Home in Bad Axe. Genevie was born July 26, 1923 in Flint to the late Peter and Elma (Parker) Severn. She married John S. Abbe June 28, 1941; he preceded her in death February 20, 2010. She and her husband owned Abbe AFC Home in Owendale. She was a member of Owendale Community of Christ Church. She enjoyed quilting and taking care of her grandchildren. She had a special affection for her furry friend Dude.
