Funeral Information

Funeral Services for Hays will be Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 4 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Harbor Beach with Rev. Connie Sassanella officiating. Burial will take place Monday, at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan. Visitation will at the church on Sunday, beginning at 2 pm until time of services at 4 pm. Arrangements are by the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com

He is survived by his son Charles Wiltshire of Grand Haven, daughter Sherry Wiltshire of Shelbyville, MI, nieces and nephews: Marilyn KNak of Burtchville, Richard Knak of Burtchville, Eric Von Oeyen of Kalamazoo, and grandchildren: Zachery, Samantha Tyler and Kaylee.

Biography

Rev. Hays Wiltshire, Jr., age 90 of Harbor Beach passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw. He was born on January 16, 1931 in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Hays & Sara (Berry) Wiltshire, Sr. Hays and Charlotte Knak were united in marriage on June 27, 1957 in Detroit. She preceded him in death on February 17, 2014. He was a minister of various churches in Michigan and in the thumb, and was former pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Harbor Beach. He was a graduate of Hillsdale College. He was a member of the Port Hope Train Depot, and was an avid model train enthusiast. He was an active stamp collector and enjoyed computer games and living at the lake.
