Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 11 am at St. Isidore Parish – St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville. Officiating will be Fr. Matthew Frederico. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 14, 2021 from 3 – 8 pm at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe or Thursday at the church from 10 am until the service time at 11 am. Family of the Deceased

Loraine is survived by her three children – Ronald (Sandy) Makowski of Center Line, Sharon (Douglas) Braun of Macomb and Steven Makowski of Center Line. Five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. One sister – Mary Ann (Fred) Mazure. Loraine was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Makowski. Brother – Frank Gosdzinski. Brother and sister in law – Eugene and Marlene Gosdzinski. Brothers-in-law – Eugene Makowski and Alfred Makowski.

Biography

Loraine E. Makowski, age 91, of Center Line, MI, formerly of Ubly, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Loraine was born on June 22, 1930 in Ubly, daughter of the late John and Irene (Dudek) Gosdzinski. She married Ernest Makowski on September 17, 1955. Loraine enjoyed playing cards, polka dancing, traveling, crossword puzzles, and visiting family and friends.
