She is survived by her son: David (Tyra) Uicker, grandchildren: Christopher, Faith, Katiera, Joshua, Michael, great grandchild: Osias Uicker, siblings: John J. Uicker II, Joseph B. Uicker, James L. Uicker (Suzanne), Thomas M. Uicker, Mary F. Uicker, Elizabeth A. Cantu (Nick), Margaret M. O'Neil (Michael), and many nieces and nephews. Katherine was preceded in death by siblings: James Uicker and Theresa Uicker.
Katherine E. Uicker, age 85 of Pontiac, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at St. Joseph Mercy Mercy Oakland Hospital in Pontiac. She was born on February 14, 1936 to the late John and Elizabeth (Flint) Uicker. Katherine worked as a librarian for the City of Detroit, in the children's library. She enjoyed reading, especially to children, quilting, playing the piano, and being with her grandchildren.
