Sandra Sue Sams, age 63 of Bad Axe, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022. She was born on January 8, 1959 in Bad Axe, daughter of the late Edwin and Shirley (Kinney) Sams. Sandra was an avid and accomplished baker and cake decorator, a passion that she acquired as a child during the summers spent baking with her grandmother, at the Kinney farm in Bad Axe. She was well known for her volunteer work in the Bad Axe area, having been active with the Jaycees, Boy Scouts, Eastern Star, and with the First Presbyterian Church of Bad Axe. Sadly, her physical limitations due to illness took away her ability to participate, but she continued to care and reach out to others when she was able. Thank you to all of her friends and neighbors who have helped her through these last few difficult years. Your kindness and generosity did not go unnoticed by her family.
