She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Marvin Wright of Ubly, and five children, Steve (Tami) Wright of Ubly, Sue (Brock) Heck of Bad Axe, Sam Gobie (Doug) of Ubly, Scott (Kris) Wright of Ubly, Shawn (Betty) Wright of Ubly; twelve grandchildren, Terry (Katie) Wright of Ubly, Evie (Jonathan) Felton of North Carolina, Nolan (Bette) Pierson of Harbor Beach, Kendall (Katie) Peruski of Birch Run, Alex (Angie) Peruski of Saginaw, Stephanie Young (Tyler) of Chesterfield, Jonathan Wright of Bad Axe, McKenzie Young (Patrick) of Ubly, Nicholas Wright (Ellie) of Bad Axe, Hunter Heck of Sebewaing, Isabel Wright of Ubly, and Halle Wright of Ubly; eleven great-grandchildren, Lily & Aubrey Wright of Ubly, Joey Felton of North Carolina, Claire & Teddy Peruski of Birch Run, Blaine, Parker, & Ty Pierson of Harbor Beach, and Mya-Lee, Macie, & Zoey Pierson of Bad Axe; one sister, Sandy Clink of Forestville; one brother-in-law, Donald (Bonnetta) Wright of Ubly, several nieces and nephews, and her furry companions Maddie, Oreo, and Ginger. Judy was preceded in death by her parents Thomas & Patricia, in-laws Forrest (Smokey) & Juanita Wright, infant sister Carol Sue, brother-in-law Carl Clink, and grandson Eldon Pierson. The family would like to give special thanks to granddaughter Bette Pierson and the entire staff of Huron County Medical Care Facility for taking such wonderful care of Judy.

Biography

Judy Wright, age 81, of Ubly, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023. She was born on June 20, 1941 in Detroit, daughter of the late Thomas Heckert and Patricia Heckert Zienert. She married Marvin Wright on September 1, 1962. They celebrated their 60th anniversary this past September with a family cookout. Judy was a longtime Ubly resident. She enjoyed playing bridge, knitting, gardening, and playing cards and games with family.
