Funeral Information

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Tuesday, April 11th at the Pigeon River Mennonite Church with Rev. David Maurer officiating. Burial will be in Grand Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00am and continue until the time of the service at church. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements. Family of the Deceased

Donna is survived by her daughter JoAnn (John) Schaefer of Pigeon; grandson Matt (Jamie) Schaefer of Pigeon; great-grandchildren Josh and Brooke; and sister-in-law Madge Richmond. She was preceded in death by her sisters Margaret Schwalm and Barbara Richmond and brother James Richmond.

Biography

Donna was born September 25, 1930 in Caseville to the late Robert “Royal” and Eveline (Schember) Richmond. She graduated from Pigeon High School in 1949. She married Ralph Limberger September 17, 1951 at Salem E.U.B. in Pigeon; he preceded her in death on March 20, 1996. She worked at the Pigeon A&P and retired from Orr’s Drugstore. She was proud to help on the family farm as a farm wife. She enjoyed baking, sewing, and traveling. Donna treasured her time spent with her great-grandchildren and quilting with her friends at Pigeon River Mennonite Church.
