Funeral Services were held Friday April 14, 2023 at 11am at the Bad Axe Free Methodist Church. Burial was in the Port Austin Township Cemetery. There was a visitation on Thursday from 3pm until 9pm at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde and from 10am until the time of service at the Church.
Valerie is survived by her mother, Martha Thuemmel; her brothers, Mark Thuemmel and his wife, Vickie, Troy Thuemmel and his wife, Laurie, and Christopher Thuemmel and his wife, Christine; Nieces and Nephews, Zachary Thuemmel, Stephanie Thuemmel, Joyce Thuemmel, Connor Thuemmel, Logan Thuemmel, and Matthew Thuemmel. Valerie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Thuemmel.
Valerie Ann Thuemmel, 58, of Port Austin died Tuesday, April 10, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City. She was born November 17, 1964 to Robert and Martha Thuemmel. Valerie attended and graduated from The Michigan School for the Deaf in Flint, Michigan.
