Fanny is survived by children Nola (Tim) Powell of Ohio, Michelle (John) Shields of New Zealand, Andrea (Ron) Kirkpatrick of Kinde, Robert (Barb) Babiszewski of Ubly, Ramona (Doug) Wallace of Burton and Kendra (Chris) Matthews of Clarkston; grandchildren Nicole, Lindsey, Kenneth, Julianne, Casey, Brooke, Colin, Josh, Corey, Alicia, Amanda, Jared, Spencer, Grant, Jackson and Claire; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Leona (Wallace) Warner of Elkton and sister-in-law Nila Soule. She was preceded in death by her husbands Mike Babiszewski and Lyle Nieschulz, children Thomas Babiszewski, Richard Babiszewski and Rebecca Wiederhold, and her brother Robert Soule.

Biography

Fanny R. Nieschulz, 87, of Elkton, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe. Fanny was born September 25, 1935 in Tyre to the late Guy and Molly (Haggert) Soule. In 1953 she graduated from Ubly High School. She moved to Elkton in 1967 and raised her family there. She retired from Huron County Medical Care Facility after 25 years as a CNA. Since 1982 she was involved with Alcoholics Anonymous and a friend of Bill W. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening, spending time with her cousins and teaching her grandchildren the proper way to play board games.
