Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe from 3:00-7:00 PM. Memorials may be offered to the family discretionary fund. Family of the Deceased

She is survived by her children; Michael (Marianne) Drummond, Richard (Darlene) Drummond, Beverly (Roger) Peyerk, David (Sarah) Drummond, Debra Drummond; twelve grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; her brother Duncan Campbell; sister in law Elaine Campbell. She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert Campbell and Neil Campbell.

Biography

Shirley (Campbell) Drummond 86 years old of Croswell, passed away peacefully with her five children by her side at Sanilac Medical Care Facility in Sandusky, on July 28, 2023. Shirley was born to the late Neil and Marie (Weiler) Campbell on December 10, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan. Shirley and Duane Drummond were married on February 11, 1955 and were married for 65 years before he preceded her in death. Shirley ran two group homes for over 30 years, offering a warm and friendly loving place for many to live in. She had a great love for people and animals and she enjoyed crocheting and reading.
