Funeral Information

The funeral service to honor and celebrate Tim's life will be Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 11 am at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish. Burial will follow in the OLLH Church Cemetery. Visitation for Tim will be Wednesday, from 2-8pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Thursday, will be at the church, beginning at 10 am until time of services at 11 am. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and share their fondest memories during the service. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to The Lighthouse Neurological Rehabilitation Center, 1655 E. Caro Rd. Caro, Michigan 48723 in memory of Tim. As we mourn the loss of Tim, let us also celebrate the joy he brought into our lives and be grateful for the time we shared together. Family of the Deceased

Tim was one of eleven children. He is survived by his children: Eric (Melissa) Stephen (Anna) and Jennifer (David) and grandchildren Cade, Avery, Hannah (Nick) Lauren (Kolyn) Joseph and Vivian, great grandson Rhett siblings: Gerald (Joan), Kenneth (Mary), Patrick (Susan), Michael (Peggy), Kathy (Gene), Dennis (Nancy), Robin (Susan), Sharon and Beth. He was preceded in death by his wife Toni parents, Morris (Bud) and Violet, brother Thomas and brother-in-law Al.

Biography

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy (Tim) O’Neil, who left us on July 31st, 2023 at the age of 75 years old. He was surrounded by his children and Lighthouse family as he peacefully departed to be with the angels in Heaven. Tim was born on April 4th 1948 in Harbor Beach Michigan to Morris (Bud) and Violet (Schroeder) O’Neil, and he brought joy, love, and laughter into the lives of all who knew him. He was a cherished husband to Toni whom he married August 7th 1971, a loving parent to his children, and a loyal friend to many. Tim lived a life filled with purpose and touched the hearts of countless people. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, recreational and competitive shooting sports and shared that enthusiasm with those around him. Tim served in the US Navy from 1966-1970. During his life, Tim faced both triumphs and challenges, but he always handled them with grace, resilience, and an unwavering spirit. His kindness, compassion, and willingness to lend a helping hand left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. In addition to his personal accomplishments, Tim was a valued member of the community. He was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church. He actively participated in the Harbor Beach Gun Club, the Thumb Sportsmen’s Club and the American Legion. Tim's presence will be sorely missed, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and inspiration that will continue to guide and comfort us in times of sorrow.
