Funeral Information

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Port Austin at 11:00 AM with Fr. Craig officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Port Austin, Michigan, where Virginia will be laid to rest beside her husband. Memorials may be offered to the family discretionary fund C/O Eugene Kubacki. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.macalpinefuneralhome.com

Family of the Deceased

Virginia is survived by daughters; Elaine (Ron) Martin of Caro, MI, Renee (Kriss) Klaus of Lapeer, MI, Judith Strozeski of Rockford, MI; sons Eugene (Dixie) Kubacki of Eastpointe, MI, Scott (Raylene) Kubacki of Flushing, MI; fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband James Kubacki, son Terry Lee Kubacki, daughter Mary Ann Maurer and daughter in law Dorothy Kubacki.

Biography

Virginia Marie Kubacki, 86 years old of Kinde, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2023. Virginia was born on September 16, 1936 to the late Thomas and Gertrude (Laba) Andreski of Huron County. Virginia was married to James Elmer Kubacki for 57 years and they raised 7 children together. Virginia was a homemaker, growing a garden and canning to feed her family. She enjoyed raising hollyhocks and sweet peas and many numerous flowers. Virginia also worked for many years at both the Paper Roll and Level Factories. She loved bird watching and spending time with her family.
