Funeral Information

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023 in St. Michael's Church of the Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Port Austin. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral.His family would like to extend a special thank you to A & D Hospice and Dr. Reiter for their excellent care. Memorials may be offered to the family discretionary fund. Arrangements were made through the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.

Family of the Deceased

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Denise Kozlowski. Also surviving are his children, Wayne (Lori) Kozlowski, Susan (Terry) Wolschlager, Scott (Kristina) Kozlowski; grandchildren, Tegan, Kole, Brady, Cody, Alec, Savannah, and Fisher; siblings, David Kozlowski (special friend, Gloria), Diane (Charlie) Pionk, Dorren (Charlie) Slack, Doris and (special friend, Lou), Dale Schramski, Steve (Kim) Schramski, Ron (Robin) Schramski, Jim (Rose) Schramski, Katchy Schramski; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Kozlowski; His in-laws, Art and Josephine Schramski, Linda Kozlowski, Linda Schramski, Mike Schramski, and Brian Schramski.

Biography

Dale Kozlowski, 68, of Port Austin, died in his home on August 5, 2023, under hospice services following a long illness. He was born on January 30, 1955, to Marie Kozlowski (Koroleski) and the late Earl Kozlowski. He married Denise Kozlowski (Schramski) on August 31, 1974. Dale began working for his father’s drywall business and eventually took over the business, known as Kozlowski Drywall. The trade was eventually passed on to his son, Wayne, who still manages the business with his sons today. Dale enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids. Dale was known by many for his ability to crack a joke at any time.
