Funeral Information

The family would like to thank Janet Rogers for her loving and compassionate care that she gave to Andy in his final months. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Per Andy’s wishes, cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City. Memorials may be offered in Andy’s name to the Thumb Animal Shelter in Elkton. Andy was survived by his brothers; Alan (Ellen) Engler of Bad Axe, Eric (Linda) Engler of Cass City, William Engler of Filion, Ed Engler of Luther, sisters; Cathy (Andrew) Ozorowicz of Cass City, Louise (Steve) Nyquist of Minnesota, Jeannie (Nicholas) Carl and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers; Kenneth, Herbert, Bryan; and sister Nancy Quirk.

Biography

Andrew C. Engler, 61 years old of Bad Axe, passed away under hospice care at home. Andrew was born on January 5, 1962 to the late Otto and Stella (Krolikowski) Engler. He was a graduate of Bad Axe High School. “Ace” loved automobile mustangs and could be considered a fanatic when it came to them. He owned several beautiful cars and loved to show them off. He enjoyed rebuilding them and taking them back to their original beauty. He worked as a bump and paint technician most of his life. He enjoyed racing motorcycles and cars at the Ubly dragway. He was an animal lover and had several dogs and cats.
