Per Beverly's wishes, a cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. The family of Beverly would like to thank the staff at Courtney Manor for taking such good care of her, especially during her final days.

Beverly is survived by her daughters: Stacy (Rob) Davis of Bad Axe, Sheri (Dean) Peyerk of Kinde; and son Scott (Tabitha) Lasceski of Port Austin along with 4 grandchildren: Little Dean Peyerk, Brandon, Braedy and Bayleigh Lasceski and a great-granddaughter, DeeDee Pererk; brothers: Orlen Shepherd, Keith (Diane) Shepherd, and Edger (Ida) Shepherd; sisters: Elsie (Robert) Craig, Travadon (Oscar) Schave, Terry Reinke and Arlene (Jim) Vahovick; and many nieces and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by siblings: Leland Shepherd, Mary Ellen Shepherd, Wanda (Otis) Forbing, Marie (Durrell) Carson, Mildred (Harry) Ropp, and sister-in-law Barbara Shepherd.

Biography

Beverly Lasceski, 79 of Bad Axe, passed away on November 22nd at Courtney Manor. She was born in Bad Axe on May 9th, 1944 to the late George and Lydia (Reinke) Shepherd. Beverly went to Redman Country School and after raising her three children, enjoyed working throughout the years at the Franklin Inn and Sam's Club. Beverly loved baking, making her special chocolate candy, polka music, making people laugh, The Detroit Tigers and her favorite player, Miguel Cabrera. However, most of all, Beverly loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a wonderful, fun-loving, giving person who enjoyed life and would do anything for her children and friends, and often did.
