Funeral Information

Funeral Mass for Charlene will take place on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 11:00am at St. Michael’s of the Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Port Austin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. There will be visitation on Wednesday from 2-9pm at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde and Thursday from 10am until the time of service at the church. A Rosary will be held Wednesday evening at 7pm at the funeral home.

Family of the Deceased

She is survived by her siblings, Stanley (Joan) Knoblock of Port Austin, David Knoblock of Sterling Heights, Raymond (Debbie) Knoblock of Sterling Heights, and Marlene (Mark) Hatch of Portage, and 10 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and John Lasceski

Biography

Charlene M. Knoblock, 68, of Romeo died Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Wellbridge of Romeo Nursing Facility in Romeo, Michigan. Charlene was born in Bad Axe on July 20, 1955, daughter of the late Stanley and Joanna “Gembarski” Knoblock. She graduated from Port Austin High School in 1973. She received a B.A. degree from Madonna University in Livonia, after which, she worked for American Motors. Charlene enjoyed children and spending time with her family and friends. She served as a Eucharistic Minister for St. Theordore’s Catholic Church in Westland, MI.
