Joann is survived by her two children, daughter Nancy (Ron) Kirsch of St. Helen; son James Peruski of Holland; grandchildren Hannah and Zackary Kirsch; brothers Joseph (JoAnne) Schipinski, Elmer (Ann) Schipinski, Edward (Theresa) Schipinski, and Daniel (Crystal) Schipinski; sister Edna (George) Lemanski; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Theresa (Raymond) Augustine and Virginia “Jenny” Krozek; and half-sister Rose Fredette.

Biography

Ms. Joann Peruski, 78, of Bad Axe, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023 at the Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe. Joann was born on January 27, 1945 in Bad Axe to the late Peter and Martha (Prange) Schipinski. Joann enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and playing cards. She was a fan of the Tigers and watched every game that she could. Joann always found it easy to talk with people, taking pleasure in the time she spent simply talking with friends and family. She also enjoyed playing bingo, never missing a game at the Huron County Medical Care Facility.
