She is survived by her husband James Booth of Port Austin. Daughter Shelly Booth of Port Austin, Michigan Son Timothy (Stephanie) Booth of Calumet, Michigan Son Andrew (Tammy, significant other) Booth of Port Austin, Michigan Grandchildren: Madeline (Arthur) Rienas, Andrew (Leigha) Wilson, Gabrielle (Anthony) Murawski, Ashley Aho, Alexis Aho and Emma Aho. Great Grandchildren: Zaidden Gall, Beau Rienas, and expecting baby Murawski. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Sean Booth.

Biography

Linda Booth, age 78, of Port Austin, died on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 21, 1945 in Bad Axe, daughter of the late Roy and Alma (Alton) Perdue. She married James Booth on July 24, 1963 in Bad Axe Michigan. Linda grew up in Huron Township and graduated from North Huron Schools in 1962. She married Jim and they moved to the Flint area. Linda had a daycare in the home for 14 years helping to raise many children and loving them as her own. In 1989 she and Jim moved to her family centennial home in the Grindstone City area. Linda was known for her quilting. She learned to sew in 4H when she was young and her love of sewing continued all thru her life. Many loved ones received a quilt as gifts over the years, these still being cherished by family and friends. Linda became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1986. Her faith continued strong throughout her life, being a member of the Bad Axe congregation for more then 30 years. In her final days she mentioned often her hope and faith of a resurrection from death to an earthly paradise where she would be reunited with her loved ones.
