Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; parents Phillip and Angeline Duda, in-laws Walter and Lucy Baranski, her brother, Ronald Duda; and brother- in- law Lawrence Huddleston. Funeral mass will be Friday, 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Dwight Township. Visitation will be at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde on Thursday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of Mass. Rosary will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Family of the Deceased

She is survived by her children; Richard (Brenda) of Kinde, Kenneth (Jane) of Cass City, Walter (Debra) of Bad Axe, Martin (Kimberly) of Kinde and Kelly (Todd) Agee of Atlanta. Her brother Carl (Terry) Duda of Bad Axe, sister Joann (Aloysius) Kubacki of Ubly and sister-in- law Judy Huddleston of Madison Heights. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Teri, Stephanie, Jill (Sal Cucchiara), Evan, Brandon (Kari), Breann (Aaron Darbee), Adrienne (Mitch Dhyse), Justin, Jaylen, Leanne, Sarah (Bailey Krzeszewski) and Thomas; great-granddaughters, Abigail, Kit, and Ellee; great-grandsons Wyatt, Lucas, Clint, Ayden, Colton, and Liam.

Biography

Virginia M. Baranski, 83, of Kinde died Friday, December 1, 2023 at Hurley Hospital in Flint, Michigan. She was born November 25, 1940 in Bad Axe, daughter of the late Phillip and Angeline (Murawski) Duda. Virginia and Edwin Baranski were married at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rapson on December 1, 1956. She was reunited with Edwin on their 67th wedding anniversary. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dwight Township where she was actively involved for many years. She was a dedicated member of the Holy Rosary Sodality. She enjoyed gardening, baking, crocheting, and making crafts. She loved visiting with friends and family, and selling pierogis, sweet corn, other produce, and baked goods both at home and in Caseville by Walsh’s Gun & Tackle.
