Funeral Information

A memorial visitation is planned for Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2pm-8pm. The memorial service will be Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at New Salem Lutheran Church, 222 E. Grove St., Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 9am until the time of service at 10:30am with a luncheon to follow. Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Family of the Deceased

Wave is survived by her husband, Mark; daughter, Sierra; father, Jerl “Babe” Carter; sister, Nancy (Kim) VanNortwick; brother, Ward Carter; and many nieces and nephews. Wave is preceded in death by her mother, Janet Carter; brother, Wade Carter; and in-laws: Charles Lindy and Rosemarie Manial.

Biography

Wave M. Manial, age 58, of Sebewaing, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 15, 2024. Wave was born in Bay City on August 11, 1965, to Jerl “Babe” Carter and Janet (Winter) Carter. She graduated in 1983 from USA School. On September 23, 1995, she married Mark Manial at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. She just recently retired from AAA Travel of Michigan after 33 years working as a travel agent and rep for the company. She loved attending all of Sierra’s extracurricular activities, heading down to Florida with her sister to visit Sierra, helping her dad and many others when they needed it, taking casino trips and vacations with Mark, being a member of the Sebewaing American Legion Auxiliary, spending time with her girlfriends, working on puzzles and watching Hallmark movies and crime television shows.
